Employment opportunities at the Genome Center

The UC Davis Genome Center was founded as the result of a major campus-wide initiative in genomics and bioinformatics. It is part of a broader campus commitment to build on existing strengths in the life sciences and to establish an internationally recognized program in genomics research. The Center serves as the antenna for genomics technologies for the entire campus.

The Genome Center integrates experimental and computational approaches to address key problems at the forefront of genomics. Recruitments are designed both to build on existing strengths as well as to address new needs and opportunities. Our research emphasizes comparative functional genomics through the integration of multiple levels of investigation from DNA sequence analysis, protein structure-function relationships, systems biology, and population genetics.
